READ: Hebrews 11:7-12; Romans 4:1-3. Invite different group members to read the passage out loud, two or three times. Each time, use a different Bible translation.

Spend 2 minutes in silent prayer. After two minutes, have someone close in prayer.

Q1 – Growing up, was the faith modeled for you more works-based or grace-based? How has that shaped your relationship with God?

Q2 – When you read the lives of those listed in Hebrews 11, what feels like the biggest gap between their faith and yours?

Q3 – Where in your life are you most tempted to compare yourself to others or conform to the world, rather than live out your distinct calling in Christ?

Q4 – Every story in Hebrews 11 is unique and original. What specific burden has God placed on your heart for you to carry out?

Q5 – We all desire lives marked by faith that require God showing up. What moments in your past can you look back on and say, “Only God could’ve done that”?

Q6 – The same faith that justifies us is the same faith we are called to walk in. What does it mean for you to “step out” in faith right now?

CHALLENGE:

Take time to journal and commit to a promise—a radical step of obedience you'll carry through the rest of the calendar year. Write it down and place it somewhere you’ll see often. Invite your group to encourage you and hold you to it in the months ahead.
