What is ACC yTH?

ACC Auburn YTH is the student ministry of our church, designed for middle and high school students who we believe are part of no ordinary generation. In a time where culture is telling students who to be, God is raising up young people who are desperate for Him and eager to live lives that are fully surrendered to Him —wholly dependent on the Lord and committed to His ways. Our mission is to equip this next generation to walk boldly in the way of Jesus. Our leaders are burdened to know, love, and invest in students, helping them grow into radical disciples who follow Christ with confidence and conviction. Through weekly community groups, monthly WAKE gatherings, and semi-annual retreats, we desire to see students know Jesus deeply and live out their faith in every area of their lives.

Community Groups

We believe discipleship happens best within the context of meaningful community. Our Community Groups are led by college and post-graduate adults who are deeply invested in the lives of our students and committed to walking alongside them in their faith. Every Community Group leader goes through an onboarding process, completes a ministry safe training, undergoes a background check, and signs our leadership policy before serving. Leaders are paired together to provide intentional care, accountability, and counsel for students. Community Groups meet weekly, creating space for students to build relationships, ask questions, pray together, and dive deeper into the life that Jesus died and rose for them to live.

WAKE

WAKE is our monthly gathering for students in grades 6–12, where we gather together to pursue God together as one community. These nights are centered on encountering Jesus through worship and Scripture. Each WAKE creates space for students to engage with God’s Word, build meaningful relationships, and enjoy games and fun YTH activities. As a vital rhythm in the life of ACC YTH, WAKE brings students together once a month to grow in faith, build unity, and seek Jesus together.

NEXT WAKE

TIDES

This summer, TIDES is coming to 30A at Panama City Beach!! For several years, TIDES has marked a formative week in the life of our YTH ministry and our wider church—not because of a location or a schedule, but because of what God consistently does when students are given space to slow down, listen, and respond to God. As ACC YTH seeks to live out ACC’s mission to “normalize radical discipleship to Jesus in the American church,” TIDES is designed as an intentional environment where 6th–12th graders are invited to practice following Jesus in real and meaningful ways.

Throughout this week, students are challenged to consider what it means to live attentive to the Spirit, to take Jesus seriously in everyday life, and to bear faithful witness in a world that often resists the light. We gather around Scripture, worship, prayer, and honest conversation—not as an emotional high, but as a training ground for a life of discipleship. While there is room for fun and rest, the heart of TIDES is formation, not entertainment.

As our team is preparing for this week, we are trusting the Spirit to meet students personally and to continue the work of transformation that extends far beyond the retreat. We cannot wait to see you there!

TRIBE

Tribe is a student leadership team for 10th–12th graders who desire more of Jesus and are ready to live on mission within ACC YTH. Tribe is designed to form students spiritually, shape their character, and equip them to lead by example. Through weekly teaching and intentional discipleship from our leadership team, Tribe students are challenged to pursue Jesus deeply and live lives fully surrendered to Him. With retreats, opportunities to serve—including a spring mission trip to Peru—and the responsibility of helping set the spiritual culture of the ministry, Tribe calls students to step boldly into a deeper discipleship to Christ. These students are zealous for Jesus, passionate about seeing lives transformed, and committed to making His name known in their schools, city, and world.
