This summer, TIDES is coming to 30A at Panama City Beach! For several years, TIDES has marked a formative week in the life of our YTH ministry and our wider church—not because of a location or a schedule, but because of what God consistently does when students are given space to slow down, listen, and respond to God. As ACC YTH seeks to live out ACC’s mission to “normalize radical discipleship to Jesus in the American church,” TIDES is designed as an intentional environment where 6th–12th graders are invited to practice following Jesus in real and meaningful ways.Throughout this week, students are challenged to consider what it means to live attentive to the Spirit, to take Jesus seriously in everyday life, and to bear faithful witness in a world that often resists the light. We gather around Scripture, worship, prayer, and honest conversation—not as an emotional high, but as a training ground for a life of discipleship. While there is room for fun and rest, the heart of TIDES is formation, not entertainment.As our team is preparing for this week, we are trusting the Spirit to meet students personally and to continue the work of transformation that extends far beyond the retreat.
