Jennifer Hull has always had a heart for working with children. She began her career as a preschool music teacher in private education before transitioning to a kindergarten classroom in the public school system. Beyond the ABCs and 123s, she also spent many years helping with first-grade Sunday school while her own children were little. Jennifer finds joy in connecting with each child’s unique personality and gifts, and she considers it a true privilege to play a part in their learning journey.
Originally from South Carolina, Jennifer and her husband, John, are both graduates of Clemson University. They relocated to Auburn several years ago and have enjoyed exploring the loveliest village on the plains. They have been married for 27 years and have two sons. Their oldest, Coleman, is starting his third year at Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine and their youngest, Benjamin, will be a senior in the professional flight program at Auburn University. The boys have successfully taught John and Jennifer the important skill of a proper “War Eagle!” yell as they cheer at various sporting events. Two English Springer Spaniels, Winston and Lucy, and a Golden Retriever named Willow complete their family.
One of the Hull family’s first visits in Auburn was to ACC on a Sunday morning. They were immediately drawn in by the church’s vibrant worship, strong biblical teaching, and commitment to making radical disciples for Christ. Jennifer watched her oldest son volunteer faithfully on the parking committee each week at ACC and she asked Jesus to show her where she could serve the church. This search led her to ACC Academy. It’s been a joy for her to substitute teach at this darling school….a truly special combination of growing faith in these precious souls while maintaining high educational standards. She is excited to watch what God is doing here!
